Florida has finally executed someone. Florida carried out its first execution since a botched lethal injection procedure prompted a state investigation back in 06. The shotty workmanship 2 years ago when the needles for the lethal injection missed the vein and the bad guy suffered burns and extreme pain...(poor guy), meant nothing was left to chance this time. Dean Schwab, the lucky contestant this time around, was forced to merely swim in the ocean off the coast of Ft. Lauderdale. Sharks, sensing the media presence, immediately ate him.
A sad day for the Starbucks Coffee Corporation who announced they will be closing as many as 600 company owned stores nationwide in an effort to cut costs in the slow economy. Spokeswomen for the super jack shack chain Valerie O'Niel said that the store closings will be strategic...only closing stores that are directly across the street from another Starbucks.
