Hundreds of people who took an HIV test at New York City clinics between November 2007 and April of this year were incorrectly told they tested positive for the virus. 213 people reportedly tested positive for the virus after taking a rapid mouth-swab HIV test manufactured by OraSure technologies. OraSure technologies is also the maker of such goodies as the "Death Checker" and the "Home Castration and Lobotomy Kit"
Researchers have uncovered a new clue to the cause of Alzheimer's disease. The scientist who made the discovery, 91 year old Leroy Jenkins, immediately forgot what the clue was.
Finally, on a very, very sad note...71 year old comedian George Carlin has died. Carlin,who performed as recently as last weekend, checked himself into a hospital yesterday complaining of chest pain and died later that night. George Carlin, 1927-2008, you will be missed.
