Government Surveillance or Just Plain Aliens?

As the responsible podcaster that I am, I carry a recorder with me everywhere I go. This morning, as I do many Sunday mornings, I went for a hike in Beaman Park. Beaman Park is a wooded hiking park in Joelton, Tennessee maintained by the Davidson County Parks Department. This morning I made it in only a few hundred yards into the trail when I heard a noise that didn't belong. At first, over the sounds of my own walking it sounded like a distant yelling. Instinctively I stopped moving to better hear what it was. Immediately I recognized it as an electric motor....more specifically a servo. Servos are miniature motors used to move things like radio controlled car steering wheels, robot arms and pan/tilt/zoom remote cameras. This was most definitely a servo, and by my best deduction it was up in the trees somewhere. Below are links to three different recordings I made of the sound. LISTEN TO THEM WITH HEADPHONES ON. The servo sound is plainly heard, as well as some movement on my part and some occasional talking. Also, for your reference and to be able to get to the same exact spot where I heard the sounds here's how to get there. Park at the lower trail head and enter the trail system there. At the fork in the trail you immediately come to, go right. A couple hundred yards up there is a thick white exposed root that crosses the trail. That's the spot.

I know I didn't imagine this, and it may already be gone whatever it was.....but it's not a sound that belongs in the woods.
