Just in time for the start of next years hockey season, last years if finally over!! The Detroit Redwings have walked away with the Stanley Cup. This was Detroit's 4th cup win in 11 years. The Redwings still have been unable to clasp the Nextel Cup however.
Surgeons in Japan thought they were removing a tumor from a 49-year-old man who was suffering from abdominal pain in late May...but it turned out to be a TOWEL that was left inside him since an ulcer surgery back in 1983!! According to a Hospital spokesman: "The towel was greenish-blue although we are not sure about its original color." That is going to turn out to be one very expensive towel for someone.
GM is cutting production of SUV's and even thinking of selling off it's HUMMER line of gigantacars. The VOLT, Chevy's electric car that also has a gas generator will be available on the 2010 model year...which is really next year. It will get the equivalent to 150mpg. This will mark the first time anyone has ever recieved money to not get a hummer....
