A fifth human foot in a year has washed ashore off the coast of British Columbia, and this time it is a left one. The first in the series was found nearly a year ago. Within days, another right foot was found inside a man's Reebok sneaker on a nearby Island. The third was found in the same area in early February. The story has a brightside though, a local angler fishing nearby and had just caught a beautiful fish that he was uncertain about being big enough to keep. The quick thing couple that found the foot used it to measure the fish and sure enough, the happy fisherman ate well that night.
A federal appeals court judge under scrutiny for sexually explicit videos and photos posted on a personal Web site is the victim of distortions and "outright lies" published by the Los Angeles Times, according to his wife...the subject in the videos. When recently interviewed for NBC's Dateline, Chief Judge Alex Kozinski was quick to defend both himself and his wife saying that they are upstanding members of society and are being unfairly prosecuted. At one point during the show, his wife even cam out from under his desk to help defend her husband.
Stan Winston, the Oscar-winning special-effects maestro responsible for bringing the dinosaurs of "Jurrasic Park" and other iconic movie creatures to life, is dead at 62. Winston Died yesterday when a velociraptor found its way loose from it's kenitic plasma holding system and impaled him with a light saber.
